ROLE DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Team Lead of Quality Assurance, Strata Health Solutions is expanding its development team with the addition of a Software Quality Assurance Analyst. Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Writing test plans and test cases
- Testing developed components to ensure that the software behaviour complies with customer and stake-holder requirements
- Interaction with other analysts, developers and stake-holders to understand new and existing product requirements to ensure that their work is in line with company goals
- Development and maintenance of automated testing suites for performance and functional testing.
- Project Status Reporting

- Demonstrated knowledge of the suite of Strata Health Solutions products
- The ability to add relevant and timely feedback and perspectives on the systems under test
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and queuing
- Ability to work with a variety of stake-holders both technical and non-technical to discuss issues and possible solutions
CORE APPLICANT ATTRIBUTES:
- University graduate preferably from Computer Science, Software Engineering or Health Informatics program.
- Master communicator both oral and written to a variety of audiences.
- A creative knowledge worker with outstanding problem solving skills with a tireless work ethic.
- A commitment to excellence and a passion for the health care industry.
Experience with any of the following would be considered an asset:
- Software Quality Assurance Methodologies
- Software Testing Web Applications
- Test Automation
- SQL
- HL7, CCOW
- Windows, Unix, Apple OS X, JBoss, WebSphere, Oracle
- Languages such as Ruby, Perl etc
- Healthcare Information Systems / Clinical Information Systems
