Experienced Network Administrator

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
This is a full time position open to flexibility to accommodate family schooling/day-care arrangements.
Reporting to the Network Team Lead, the postion requires an experienced network administrator with the following skills:
- Oracle
- Apple Mac OS X , Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Unix
- TCP/IP LAN Management (configuration, firewall and vpn
management, security, tuning)
- Experience with WebSphere or WebObjects
- Unix Scripting
- User account management (email, file permissions, etc.)
- Hardware monitoring and troubleshooting (enterprise servers,
routers, switches)
- Documentation skills
Duties will include:
- Installing and maintaining production servers and networks (some
after-hours)
- Assisting team to deploy software (some after-hours)
- Rolling out telecom system and network monitoring
- Working with internal and external customers on defining
requirements
